Program for the native title and broader Indigenous sector

In the early years of the Aurora Project, we provided training and professional development to support staff working in native title, however since mid 2016, we are no longer funded for that part of our work.

Since inception of the Aurora Project through to the present, the Aurora Internship Program (the Program) continues to provide intern support to over 200 Indigenous sector organisations working in the area of native title, land rights, policy and community development, health policy, education, justice and research.

The  Program continues to attract enthusiastic participation by students and graduates from universities across Australia as well as overseas, with around 8,000 applications received and over 3,000 internships arranged, For more information, see the Aurora Internship Program.
