The Aurora Internship Program is currently administered via the Aurora Project. Aurora’s work in Indigenous education is conducted through a wholly owned subsidiary, the Aurora Education Foundation.
A range of supporters of Aurora have provided funding support for the Internship Program and training and professional development of staff working at NTRBs. Some of this funding listed may no longer apply.
Aurora interns are placed at a number of Host organisations across the Indigenous sector including:
15 (formerly 17) Native Title Representative Bodies and Native Title Service Providers around Australia (collectively referred to as NTRBs)
10 Prescribed Bodies Corporate (collectively known as PBCs)
over 200 other Aurora Host organisations working in land rights, policy development, justice, human rights, health, environment and research, all with a focus on the broader Indigenous sector.
